They just pretend to, to look cool. ;) (Basically because real-life magic doesn't look anywhere near as impressive like it does on TV. In fact, there's really nothing to see. Just like there's nothing to see when people are praying to God, and that's what it's akin to, tbh.)

Quite liked John Cusack in Serendipity. He's cute. :)Traxyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13249884092846934427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952400607386754611.post-23286678625780059782010-07-30T05:01:30.465+10:002010-07-30T05:01:30.465+10:00Welcome back, Ragtag! Will probably be mostly in lurk mode.

'Love Potion #9' is good because Sandra and her costar are great, and some of the lesser characters are really good too. It's been quite a while since I've seen it, so I hope it's as good as I remember it.

I have a love/hate relationship with John Cusack, and mostly, I think that's due to the directors he's worked with. If they get him, his movies are great. If they don't, they're lousy. I have not yet seen 'Must Love Dogs.' Maybe I'll check it out.bZirkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05086707471450034283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952400607386754611.post-46315849255184727212010-07-28T21:09:31.063+10:002010-07-28T21:09:31.063+10:00Traxy I'm gonna check out Love Potion #9. It's not the wiccan content, I have all of Charmed on DVD but perhaps it's Nicole Kidman's character?

Or maybe I watched it right after a breakup? Or on a full moon...Starhearthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01301510892391837760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952400607386754611.post-52598968105926925062010-07-27T23:50:22.357+10:002010-07-27T23:50:22.357+10:00I have not watched Must love Dogs but I have seen ...I have not watched Must love Dogs but I have seen Practical Magic and it is one of my favorites. I think I am more of a tragic romance kind of girl, rather then comedy romance. I love Tristan and Isolde, Titanic, and The Notebook.Avalonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08722166722435492840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952400607386754611.post-85798077543511888992010-07-27T21:34:44.013+10:002010-07-27T21:34:44.013+10:00Aww, I loved "Practical Magic"! It never fails to get me all enthusiastic about all the witchy stuff I profess to be a part of ... but just never really get around to, especially not since moving to Britain - which is partly why I'll be participating in the Pagan Pride Parade on Sunday! :D

Speaking of Sandra Bullock films, have you seen Love Potion #9? I got it because Dale Midkiff has a very small part in it. SB is a brilliant comedic actress, but the film is sooooo incredibly bad. I think the theme tune ("Love Potion #9" by The Clovers) might just be the best thing about it, and that song's not exactly on my top 10 oldies list!Traxyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13249884092846934427noreply@blogger.com
